Approach
Evolving an existing Wix base into a complete e-commerce experience.
The owner set up the initial Wix base and selected a theme. The collaboration then covered a large share of the design and implementation work: web design, front-end integration, Wix configuration, pages and navigation, catalogue operations, content, translations, Velo backend automation and maintenance. Changes are developed in coordination with the owner and project team and reviewed throughout the project.
Catalogue & content
The catalogue contains 2,200+ products and continues to evolve as products are added, updated or removed. The work covers product creation and maintenance, names, descriptions, prices, weights, SKUs, categories, subcategories and imagery, using controlled batch updates and checks before publication.
Multilingual customer experience
Catalogue, navigation, menus and content run in seven languages: English, French, German, Luxembourgish, Persian, Bosnian and Turkish. The challenge was keeping a large catalogue structurally consistent, with checks for missing values, Persian right-to-left considerations and desktop and mobile QA.
Commerce operations
B2C and B2B journeys with professional customer access, cart, checkout and active payment workflows, shipping, store pickup and weight- or product-based rules. Also multi-country VAT/tax configuration and testing using Wix/Avalara product tax categories, member accounts, privacy and consent, and GA4 analytics.
Custom automation
A launch driven by Wix Velo.
A Velo backend in JavaScript (wix-data) connects Wix Members events, the Wix CMS, Wix coupons and Wix CRM triggered emails: member registration → qualification → CMS assignment → discount tier → coupon activation → personalised email → status update.
For the launch, the first 30 qualifying registrations received tiered discounts from 30% to 5% based on their position, each with a unique single-use coupon valid for 48 hours and sent by an automated personalised email.
QA & production launch
Improve what exists, then launch for real.
The project progressively developed the existing Wix shop through to its public launch on 1 October 2026. Continuous QA covers the catalogue, multilingual content, commerce rules, automation and customer journeys (sign-up, coupons, cart, checkout, shipping, VAT and B2B). Product updates, maintenance and optimisation continue.
